Internships Available Now

Multiple internship opportunities are available with Immerge Technologies, Inc. in Harrisonburg, VA.

Student(s) will work with the Immerge team to work on various contracts which can include technical documentation, software development, graphic design, client relations and marketing.

Specific job tasks may include:

• Software requirements documentation
• End-user documentation
• User manual development
• Website development (multimedia and content creation, client and server coding)
• Graphic design for print, web and software
• Flash development
• Software development for custom software
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Client and customer interaction

The right applicant(s) will be creative, outgoing, energetic, team-focused, and will exhibit an entrepreneurial desire.

Hours

Schedules are flexible and can be worked along with class schedules. Some work may qualify to be done offsite, but the student will regularly report to Immerge’s offices in the Downtown Harrisonburg Technology Zone.

Ideal Candidates

Positions will be ideal for TSC, SMAD, and CS students, but all majors are welcome to apply.

General office skills are required and technical knowledge should include, at minimum, Microsoft Office. Students with graphic design, website design, programming and software development experience are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed at interviews. At minimum, interns will receive the experience of working on real business with a potentially lucrative company during its start-up phase. Additionally, a stipend may be offered to qualified applicants.
