Immerge and SBDC launch “High Tech, Low Cost” series
Immerge is launching a series of workshops and seminars in partnership with the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center. The series, titled “High Tech, Low Cost,” is an endeavor aimed at helping local businesses streamline their efficiency and cut costs through free or low-cost technology tools, electronic marketing and online business sense.
When Immerge was founded in 2004, our owners immediately recognized the importance of using professional quality, yet affordable, technology to help maintain financial stability and organizational effectiveness. During these challenging economic times, we want to pass these tools on to other local businesses.
All series events will be held at National College at 1515 Country Club Road in Harrisonburg. The fee is $20 per workshop or $50 for the series. Event topics, dates and times are as follows:
February 4, 2010 (8-10 am): Technology Tools
March 23, 2010 (8-10 am): Electronic Marketing
April 13, 2010 (8-10 am): The Power of Email
Immerge will also be offering an abbreviated version of the Electronic Marketing workshop as part of SBDC’s “Business Smarts” series. The fee, which includes breakfast, is $10 for members or $15 for non-members.
