Pagespeed Optimization

The average mobile page takes 8 seconds to load, which is an awful long time if you think about it. Google AMP                                                                                                                                          

Google values mobile response time, and that emphasis is only growing with the increase in mobile usage. They introduced Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP’s), a tool designed to make faster mobile pages. Although AMP’s are not currently prioritized in Google’s SEO rankings, AMP’s will become a factor in rankings in the future as mobile pages begin to load rapidly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Keywords

A large part of your business’s online success depends on how easily people can search and discover your site. Through keywords, people are able to locate your business in search engines. Keywords are particular words in your web content that describe specific web pages, and it’s important to choose the right ones in order to attract the ideal customer. What are people searching in order to find your business? That is normally a good indication of keywords to use.

Titles

This helps with search rankings when search engine bots perform crawls.

Meta Descriptions

A meta description is the text placed below the title and link of search engine result. Meta descriptions don’t directly influence search rankings  but they’re still useful for bringing more clicks by informing searches what your listing is about.

Headlines and Content

Be sure to include keywords on your site’s headlines and content; most search engines use them as factors when determining rankings. This is useful is because it makes visitors stay on your page longer, since no one likes clickbait. Keep in mind not to overuse the keywords (keyword cramming) as this may have a negative impact on rankings, just make sure the page reads conversationally not sounding like a broken record.

Image Alt Tags

When uploading images to your site, make sure that the image is tagged with the appropriate keyword by creating alt texts. Image alt texts tells search engines what an image is about. This ensures that your image shows up in appropriate locations in search, so it is good to be descriptive.
